The Healthy Living in Paulsgrove Project
Health and Care Portsmouth are currently working on the Health Living in Paulsgrove Project to help Paulsgrove residents build healthier and happier lives by improving the access to services and activities.
Since July 2023, local NHS services, Portsmouth City Council, HIVE Portsmouth, local schools, GP surgeries and more have been working with residents and other members of the community to understand what it’s like to live or work in Paulsgrove.
So far, the project has held face-to-face community meetings in Paulsgrove where over 10 residents shared their thoughts, multiple online meetings with the professional working group, and we have had over 50 conversations with residents at local events and various locations across the community. Following our conversations, we have uncovered 10 themes based on what is most important to the residents.
If you live in Paulsgrove or have connections to this community and would like to be involved in the project going forward, we would love to hear from you.
You can contact via email to healthandcare@portsmouthcc.gov.uk or call Jo Atkinson on 07503 888 814.
