The first meeting of the Portsmouth Autism Community Forum will be held on 18 May.

It will be a place where people with autism, their families and carers can meet with service providers such as the council, health services and support groups.

Come along to the Festival of Mind and find out about becoming a Shared Lives carer! The Portsmouth Shared Lives team will be in Portsmouth Cathedral on Monday 14 May from 10.30am-3.30pm. If you have a spare room and some spare time you could welcome an adult from the community into your home and support them with everyday activities. It doesn’t matter what age you are, whether you are working or not or how many people are in your family – Shared Lives households come in all shapes. You’ll also receive an income for being a Shared Lives carer. Come down and talk to us to learn more!
