Health and Care Portsmouth is all about working together so that people receive better care, seamless services and get the support they need.

HIVE Portsmouth is a charity in the community and voluntary sector working together to improve the health and wellbeing of people in Portsmouth.
They work with local people, groups, and organisations to help build independence and self-reliance by connecting people and organisations to share, support, and learn.
HIVE Portsmouth is governed by a board of trustees who are responsible for HIVE’s mission, strategic goals and objectives, and establishing policies.

On 30 June 2022, NHS Portsmouth Clinical Commissioning Group will be abolished. The CCG and its staff will join the NHS Hampshire and Isle of Wight Integrated Care Board, which is the leading organisation for the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Integrated Care System. The ICB is responsible for buying NHS functions and services in Portsmouth and will be accountable for NHS spend and performance within the system.

Portsmouth City Council is the central provider of social care in the city to support vulnerable residents. They provide a range of social services for adults, children, families, and carers.
The council is also home to the city’s Public Health team; working to improve and protect the health of the whole population in Portsmouth.

Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust is the key provider of local hospital care, providing treatment to 675,000 people across Portsmouth and South East Hampshire. They offer a full range of hospital services from their main site at Queen Alexandra Hospital, Cosham, are a regional cancer centre and have a significant reputation for research and innovation.

Portsmouth Primary Care Alliance is an alliance of GP Practices in the Portsmouth area, set up to support the sustainability of General Practice and the delivery of services. They aim to work with member practices to help secure the best services for patients by keeping services local and familiar.

Solent NHS Trust provides community, mental health and learning disability services to communities in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. Their services are provided from a range of locations including community hospitals for inpatients and outpatients, as well as health centres, children’s centres and within people’s homes.
